A planet trail is a true-to-scale representation of the Sun and its planets.
By default, distances and diameters of the objects are scaled down by factor 1:1 billion, i.e.
everything is 1,000,000,000 times smaller than in reality.The planets are shrinked to sphericals of a few centimetres or even less in some cases which can be represented on the display of your mobile device.
However, some planetary orbits are in the order a few kilometres.
They are illustrated by circles on Google Map.Make your current location to the centre of the solar system and seek out the planets.
Youll get more information about the planets as soon as you reach their orbits.This app is meant to support educational purposes or just to increase the experience on your next walking-tour.
